National Science Foundation
Convergence Accelerator

Summary

Launched in 2019, the NSF Convergence Accelerator builds upon basic research and discovery to accelerate solutions toward real-world impact. The NSF Convergence Accelerator is expanding from a single national program to 10 regionally focused NSF Convergence Accelerators in the Northwest, West, Mountain, Southwest, Midwest, South Central, Central, Southeast, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions. As part of this regional expansion, a series of events are scheduled to take place in three stages from spring 2024 to winter 2027. The events raise awareness while providing insights into the roles and responsibilities of the regional NSF Convergence Accelerator lead, called a Regional Anchor, and how regional stakeholders can participate in the program.

Our team worked closely with NSF to understand their design needs, created a brand refresh for the Convergence Accelerator, and worked cross-functionally with the events team to execute our projects.

Role

As one of the senior graphic designers on the project, my role was to build a cohesive set of materials for the Regional Expansion Events. Work included, but was not limited to, printed easel signs, agendas, fact sheets, name badges, and digital assets such as presentation decks, Eventbrite graphics, email headers and footers, and webpage layouts.
